Join us the first weekend in December to shop locally made goods at our 6th annual outdoor holiday market and tour the seasonally decorated historic home of the Heurich family!
The museum honors the Heurich family’s German heritage by recreating a traditional German public Christmas market in its garden. This holiday shopping event, Dupont Circle’s only holiday market, features goods from local artisans, including jewelers, ceramicists, bakers, makers of housewares and more. Tour the historic home of DC’s most successful brewmaster Christian Heurich to view seasonal decorations and enjoy the mansion’s intact interiors.
On Friday, November 30th from 4-9pm the museum will feature products Made in DC. The market will also be open on Saturday, December 1st from 11am-5pm and Sunday, December 2nd from 11am-5pm featuring products made all over the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
On Saturday and Sunday, be one of 100 attendees at our Early Access Hour from 10 am to 11 am. Tickets will go fast! Early Access tickets will also include a Christkindlmarkt 2018 tote bag. The museum will open at 11am, so early access guests can also be first to see the seasonally decorated home. Early Access tickets are limited to 100 guests each day and are available online until 5pm on November 29th and at the door on the day of or until sold out.
For the first time, the museum is offering a VIP ticket which includes the Christkindlmarkt 2018 tote bag. VIP guests will be welcome during general admission hours.
Admission fee includes all-day admission to the market and one entry to the historic Heurich home. Food and refreshments (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase.
