Directions

From the Northeast:
Take 95 South to the Beltway 495 West toward Silver Spring MD.  Take the Georgia Avenue 97 South exit.  Take Georgia Avenue South to Silver Spring. Bear RIGHT onto 16th Street just after the Seminary Road intersection.  Take 16th Street to the U Street Intersection. Bear to the upper RIGHT onto New Hampshire Avenue (not the sharp right onto U Street).  Take New Hampshire Avenue to Dupont Circle.  Go halfway around circle and turn RIGHT onto New Hampshire Avenue.  The Heurich House is 1 block down on the left.

From the Northwest:
Take 270 South to 495 East.  Take the exit for Wisconsin Avenue, 355 South.  Take Wisconsin Avenue to Massachusetts Avenue.  Cross over Massachusetts (left turns directly onto Mass. are prohibited) and take the next LEFT onto Garfield.  At the next light, take a RIGHT onto Massachusetts Avenue.  Follow Massachusetts Avenue to 20th Street.  Take a RIGHT onto 20th Street and continue for 2 blocks to the intersection of 20th and New Hampshire.  The Heurich House is on your left at the intersection of 20th and New Hampshire.

From the South:
Take 95 North to 395 North to the 14th Street Bridge (Rochambeau Memorial Bridge).  Continue across the bridge and follow 14th Street to Constitution.  Make a LEFT onto Constitution.  Follow Constitution to 20th Street, and then make a RIGHT onto 20th Street.  In a few blocks, 20th Street appears to end.  Turn RIGHT and continue one block to Virginia Avenue.  Turn LEFT onto Virginia Avenue, and then RIGHT to continue on 20th Street.  Follow 20th Street to the corner of 20th and New Hampshire.  the Heurich House is at the intersection of 20th and New Hampshire.

From the East:
Take 50 West which turns into 50W/New York Avenue.  Follow signs for 50W/Downtown and signs for New York Avenue/Massachusetts Avenue.  Bear RIGHT onto L Street until it ends and you must bear RIGHT onto Massachusetts Avenue.  Follow Massachusetts Avenue and enter the tunnel.  When you come out of the tunnel, you will cross over 15th Street and enter Scott Circle.  Follow the circle and make a RIGHT onto Rhode Island Avenue.  When you cross Connecticut Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue turns into M Street.  Follow M Street and make a RIGHT onto 20th Street.  The Heurich House is at the intersection of 20th and New Hampshire.

From the West:
Take 66 East and cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.  Take the E Street exit and follow E Street to 20th Street.  Make a LEFT onto 20th Street and follow it north to the corner of 20th and New Hampshire.  The Heurich House is on the upper right corner of New Hampshire and 20th Streets.

Red line to Dupont Circle.  Take Dupont Circle SOUTH exit.  Walk one-half block down 19th Street.  Take a RIGHT on Sunderland Place.  Follow Sunderland Place to the end of the block.  You have arrived at The Heurich House (corner of 20th and New Hampshire).
