We are delighted that you are interested in hosting your wedding at the Heurich House Museum!
The mansion was built from 1892-4 by German immigrant, local brewer, and philanthropist Christian Heurich (1842-1945). Recognized as Washington, D.C.’s most successful brewer, he ran the Chr. Heurich Brewing Co. until his death at 102. Both Heurich daughters, Anita Heurich Eckles and Karla Heurich King Harrison, were married in the house. Weddings are our tradition.
Conveniently located one block from Dupont Circle, the Heurich House Museum is an intimate venue for your wedding. Our bright and spacious Conservatory and secluded urban Castle Garden are the perfect setting for up to 125 guests. A visit to the “Brewmaster’s Castle” is a visit back in time to the late 19th century, when the Heurich family lived in Washington’s premiere residential neighborhood, Dupont Circle. The mansion is notable for its technological innovations, original interiors, and rich family collections.
