Kick off a hot summer of music with a cool performance honoring Duke Ellington and Jazz in DC on June 21 from 6-9pm. We’re turning the museum’s Conservatory into a lounge for the night. Food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase. VIP tickets include one free alcoholic beverage.
Attendees will be able to purchase DC music themed books and experience tastes of the hotel’s delicious food at pop-ups throughout the festival.
This is the first of a new summer Dupont Circle neighborhood music series, The Sound of DC, presented by outstanding jazz musician Mark G. Meadows and featuring other prominent local artists. Sponsored by Kramerbooks and The Dupont Circle, the series includes a free concert honoring Marvin Gaye & Soul in Dupont Circle in July, and a celebration of Chuck Brown & Go-Go at Dupont Underground in August.
